Aïssatou Tounkara continue l’aventure avec l’Atlético

Tounkareste.

L’aventure ibérique de l’internationale française Aïssatou Tounkara (24 ans), débarquée du Paris FC à Madrid la saison dernière, a pris une plutôt bonne tournure, puisque la défenseuse centrale a terminé championne d’Espagne. Une motivation suffisante pour prolonger jusqu’en 2022 son contrat qui venait d’arriver à expiration.

Rappelée par Corinne Diacre dans le groupe qui affrontera (justement) l’Espagne ce samedi à Clermont-Ferrand, Tounkara (douze sélections avec les Bleues) avait dû se contenter d’un rôle de doublure en défense lors du dernier Mondial. Le 12 septembre prochain, elle démarrera sa saison européenne face aux Serbes du Spartak Subotica, avec l’objectif d’effacer la raclée (10-0 en cumulé) reçue la saison passée face à Wolfsbourg.
